Inspired by the playful and social nature of dolphins often seen along Florida’s Gulf Coast, this one-of-a-kind wooden mosaic captures four dolphins gliding together through vibrant shades of blue water. Wave patterns and flowing sea grass create a sense of movement, while the carefully shaped pieces bring depth and texture to the scene.
Over 200 individual pieces were hand-cut on a scroll saw, shaped, sanded, primed, and hand-painted before being assembled like a puzzle. The artwork is finished with a handcrafted teak frame that complements the coastal palette and natural beauty of the piece.
